Police Arrest Woman, Still Searching for Man Responsible for an Area Assault

CANTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Canton police have arrested one half of a couple responsible for beating a woman with a baseball bat and then shocking her multiple times with a taser.
22 year old Shelby Bell was arrested on Wednesday night on a felonious assault warrant. Police believe that her and 23 year old Dominic Barrino used a baseball bat to attack a 39 year old woman on September 22.
Records show that they allegedly hit the victim in the head at Barrino’s home and then used a taser on her. The couple claims the woman stole from them. She was taken to the hospital with injuries and has since been released. Borrino remains at large while Bell is in jail awaiting her court hearing.
