Police Arrest Fourth and Final Inmate Who Escaped from Ohio Prison

DURHAM, NC (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The fourth and final inmate who escaped from a southern Ohio jail early yesterday has been recaptured. Gallia County Sheriff Matt Champlin announced that Lawrence R. Lee III was taken into custody by law enforcement officials in Durham, N.C.
Lee’s arrest follows the events earlier today where the first three members of the group who escaped were arrested in North Carolina this morning at 2 AM. The four originally escaped by using a homemade weapon to overpower a guard at the Gallia County Jail.
