SCSO: Man Killed in Lexington Crash During Police Pursuit

LEXINGTON TWP., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 45-year-old man was killed in a one-car crash in Lexington Township near Alliance early Friday morning.
The Stark County Sheriff’s Office says the driver was being pursued along the Alliance bypass near Route 225 when he went off the south side of the roadway and hit a tree.
The victim’s name has not been released.
The eastbound roadway was closed for about six hours Friday morning.
