“Socktober”fest Coming Soon to North Canton

NORTH CANTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – With October right around the corner one local organization is organizing a way to help those in need. The North Canton Jaycees will be collecting basic clothing essentials and undergarments an event they’re calling “socktober.”

New socks, underwear, bras and t-shirts will be collected to benefit local shelters. These basic necessities are often overlooked. Donations will be accepted throughout all of October. Bins can be found at the North Canton Public Library. All items must be new.
