Stark Traffic Fatality Count for First Quarter: Four

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Stark County is on nearly the same pace as last year as far as traffic fatalities go.

Four people have been killed in the first three months of the year.

It was five for the same period in 2022.

The Stark County Sheriff’s Office Safe Communities Coalition says half of the accidents involved drugs and alcohol.

And they say one of the fatal accidents involved distracted driving

They will be conducting Seat Belt Challenges soon at the Pro Football Hall of Fame for area high school students.
