Summit Sheriff: Stark Driver Pulled Over by Phony Cop

AKRON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC and ONN) – Word that a Stark County woman was recently pulled over by a man posing as a police officer.
No specifics from the Summit County Sheriff like a specific location of the incident, but the younger woman was able to determine she was not looking at a real police officer out her car window.
She then got off I-77 in Jackson Township and reported the incident at the Canton post of the State Highway Patrol.
The Summit sheriff has a number of recommendations, like asking to see an ID.
