Teen Involved in Sylvia McGee Shooting Has Trial Date Set

CANTON (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Alleged killer of 14-year-old Sylvia McGee is scheduled to stand trial this fall. 13-year-old Isiah Lynch faces one juvenile count of aggravated murder as he is believed to have fatally shot McGee on March 30.

Jury Selection for Lynch’s trial is set to begin on October 31 while testimony will take place from November 4 through November 8. Lynch is currently being held in the Stark Attention Center, which is part of the Multi-County Juvenile Attention System.
