Rail Car Removal Means More Soil Removal

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Except for 11 cars of that derailed Norfolk Southern freight train in East Palestine, the rest have been removed.

The others remain as part of the NTSB’s continuing investigation.

This cleanup will allow for three wells to be drilled.

Eventually the EPA says there will be ten such wells at the site which will be used to locate any contamination and determine which direction it might be going in the groundwater below.
