Alliance Man Sentenced in Shooting at Senior Complex

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A 60-year-old Alliance man has been sentenced to eight to ten-and-a-half years in prison.

This, after pleading to a reduced charge of felonious assault in a shooting incident from last year.

Perry Redwine pleaded to the charges in an amended indictment last week.

An attempted murder charge was dropped.

Alliance police say last September, Redwine shot another resident of the senior housing complex where he lived.

That complex is at South Seneca Avenue near East State Street.

Court paperwork showed the victim was shot in the head and arm.
