CFD Drives Two Blocks West to Fight House Fire

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Canton Fire Prevention Bureau is looking for the cause of a house fire.
That fire heavily damaged a two-story house on Michael Place at Dewalt Avenue SW, two blocks directly behind the downtown fire station.
The CFD reported “heavy fire” on the second floor.
Parts of the house were boarded up, but it’s not certain if it had been occupied or not.
No damage estimate, and no injuries.
