LISBON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Homeworth man who entered a guilty plea earlier to aggravated vehicular homicide charges will spend seven to ten years in prison.

It’s for the death of 41-year-old Jennifer Moreland last January.

21-year-old Joseph Matz was remorseful at his sentencing hearing on Friday.

He is not able to have a driver’s license for life.

Prosecutors say Matz was under the influence of drugs when he drove off Knox School Road and into the Moreland home in Knox Township in Columbiana County.

That accident killed the mother of two and badly injured her husband.
