Emergency Bridge Closure in Green

GREEN, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – An emergency bridge closure in the city of Green.

The South Main Street bridge over the Nimisila Reservoir was closed Thursday by the Summit County Engineer’s Office when a new crack was found in the structure.

Plans were on the drawing board to replace the span.

Those plans are being pushed harder now.

The bridge has been under a lower weight limit.
