Indians Santana In Home Run Derby

As part of Major League Baseball All-Star week, Cleveland will host the Home Run Derby Monday night  at 8pm at Progressive Field.

Indians All-Star first baseman Carlos Santana will participate in the 8-man tournament, with the winner claiming the $1 million dollar first place prize.

Here is your 8-man field:

#1 seed Matt Chapman, Oakland A’s (filling in for the injured Christian Yelich of the Brewers)

#2 seed Pete Alonso, NY Mets

#3 seed Josh Bell, Pittsburgh Pirates

#4 seed Alex Bregman, Houston Astros

#5 seed Joc Pederson, LA Dodgers

#6 seed Ronald Acuna Jr., Atlanta Braves

#7 seed Carlos Santana, Cleveland Indians

#8 seed Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Toronto Blue Jays

Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper, who was with the Washington Nationals last season, won the long ball contest at last years Mid-Summer Classic.
