A national football audience saw the 49ers destroy the Browns in every way possible in San Fran’s 31-3 victory on Monday night.

Besides winning by four touchdowns, the Niners out rushed the Browns 275 to 102 and out gained them in total yards 446 to 180.

The Browns also lost the turnover battle as Freddie Kitchen’s squad coughed it up 4 times on the night (2 interceptions and 2 fumbles), while Kyle Shanahan’s team went without committing a single turnover.

Cleveland came up short in the pass protection portion of the game as well, losing the sack battle    4 sacks to 2. Former Ohio State Buckeye and number two overall pick in this year’s NFL draft Nick Bosa recorded 2 of the Niners 4 sacks of Baker Mayfield.

The Browns quarterback finished the night completing only 8 of 22 passses for 100 yards and those 2 picks.

The tone for the night was set on each teams first possession in the game. The Browns went 4 plays and out, while the 49ers, on their first play from scrimmage, scored on an 83 yard run by running back Matt Breida.

San Francisco improved to 4-0 on the young season, while the Browns fell to 2-3.

Next up for Cleveland, a home game this Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
