Narcan Coming to Ohio Freeway Rest Areas

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The governor says 65 rest areas across Ohio will soon be equipped with Narcan.

That’s the life-saving drug for those experiencing an opioid overdose.

ODOT, Recovery Ohio and the state health department’s Project Dawn are making the project happen.

4900 people died from overdoses in Ohio last year.
