OSP: 23 Killed in Memorial Day Weekend Accidents in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The number of people killed on Ohio’s highways over the four-day holiday weekend is up from last year.

23 people were killed in 20 crashes, including two motorcyclists killed in separate accidents in Akron and in Deerfield Township.

There was also a serious crash involving two motorcycles in Stark County.

18 people were killed in crashes last Memorial Day weekend.

The State Highway Patrol says they made 399 impaired driving arrests across the state.
