Small Weekend Earthquake Centered North of Sebring

KNOX TWP., COLUMBIANA CO., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The Earth was shaking early Saturday morning, at least in a small part of the area.

A 3.0 magnitude earthquake was centered in Knox Township in the northwest corner of Columbiana County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was felt by some people in Alliance, Sebring and Minerva who sent Did You Feel It submissions to the USGS.

Anything below 2.5 magnitude is generally not felt by people.
