Stark Budget Already in Place for 2022

CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Stark County begins the new year with a budget already in place.
Last year, they waited until March, because of uncertainty over COVID-19.
The county general fund budget is set at $75.4 million, about $3 million more than last year’s budget.
The county budget commission pegged the 2022 revenue estimate at $76.5 million.
The budget must be based in that figure.
