Traditional Snowbelt Hit Over Weekend

CLEVELAND, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – Just snowflakes in the air for Stark County and the area for the most part this weekend.

But the classic snowbelt area of northeast Ohio took a hit from Lake Erie.

Just over 10 inches of snow in Montville in central Geauga County and over 7 inches in Pierpont in east central Ashtabula County.

Just .1 inch at the airport.

But it was windy and downright cold.

The high at the CAK weather station Saturday was 31.

It was 33 on Sunday.

All this, as Spring begins on Monday.
