The new Mr. Rogers movie includes 3 local kids!
Not only was it a “beautiful day” but it was an “emotional day” when Dan and Destanie Harsh of Lake Township first saw their triplets in the official trailer for the new movie about Fred Rogers. “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” staring Tom Hanks debuts on November 22nd. The local children were hired to play the baby – Gavin – of one of the main characters in the movie. The couple sent a picture of their triplets when they heard that casting officials were looking for biracial twins or triplets between 2 and 4 months old. And as Destanie told Canton’s Morning News we “fit the recipe perfectly”. The Harshes have 8 children. He’s a financial adviser and she’s a Canton Postal Worker.
